Auditioning for SSTC
Shady Shakespeare embraces non-traditional casting. We hold individual auditions for each production and are committed to providing opportunities to actors who are new to Shakespeare. We are currently not affiliated with Actor's Equity. All artists are paid a stipend of $200 per production. Artists traveling more than 45 miles may be eligible for an additional travel allowance.For more information visit our Upcoming Auditions page. 2012 Auditions
Auditions for SSTC's summer season will be held January 22nd, 2012. Callbacks for The Lion In Winter will be held February 11th. Callbacks for Pericles and King Lear will be held February 25th. The auditions will be held at The Armory at 240 North Second Street in San Jose, 95112. Auditions are by appointment only.
