2010 SEASON AUDITIONS Much Ado About Nothing (directed byLarry Barrott) The Merchant of Venice (directed by Bryan Freeman) Audition Dates: February 15 and 16, 2010 - 6:30-9:30pm Callbacks: February 18th (The Merchant of Venice ) and 19th (Much Ado About Nothing) - 6:30-9:30pm. Additional callbacks will be held Saturday if necessary. Callback auditionees will be notified by phone or email on Wednesday, February 17th. If called back, please dress appropriately for stage movement and combat as well as readings from the scripts. You will only be called if you are cast Audition Location: Musson Theatrical, 890 Walsh Ave., Santa Clara. What to Bring: Please prepare two (2) contrasting Shakespeare monologues each no more than two minutes in length. Singers should prepare a piece no more than 2 minutes in length, preferable from the WWII and Swing era. An accompianist will be provided. Also, please bring your headshot, resume, and calendar. About the Season: Productions are performed in repertory (alternating performance evenings) at 7pm Thursdays through Sundays July 30 - September 5, 2010 at Sanborn-Skyline County Park in Saratoga. A stipend is paid to all actors. All roles are available and many actors will be cast in both productions. About Rehearsals: Rehearsals begin May 24th and are held M-F evenings from 6:30pm - 10:00pm. Fight, music, and dance calls mat be held on Saturdays. Rehearsals will be held at Musson Theatrical and at Sanborn Park. |
