Shady Shakespeare is operated entirely by volunteers whose duties include set and costume construction, fundraising, marketing, house management, concession sales, graphic design, volunteer development, event management and much more. We hope you will consider joining the SSTC family, either by joining our Board of Directors, serving on a committee, working behind the scenes on a production, sharing administrative skills, or even by ushering a show.

Your skills can assist us with costuming, scenery production, lighting, or backstage management. No prior theatre experience is required. High school and college students are especially encouraged to take advantage of this career building opportunity. Administrative Assistance It may not be as glamorous as acting, but administrative support is just as critical to Shady Shakespeare's mission. We can always use more people to stuff and stamp envelopes, write letters, make phone calls, hand out flyers, and run errands. Remember, Shady Shakespeare is run entirely by volunteers like YOU who are passionate about the world of Shakespeare. If any of the above sounds like a way you would like to join the act, please contact us today! |
