Larry Barrott
Certified through Dueling Arts International, Mr. Barrott has been the fight choreographer/director for numerous productions around the Bay Area. Currently completing a Masters of Arts in Theatre, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a Masters in Education. A theatre practitioner for over 40 years, Mr. Barrott is an accomplished actor and director, and continues to pursue scholarly work in Shakespeare and theatre. He is the Artistic Director of Shady Shakespeare Theatre Company. |

Alexandra Kay
Ms. Kay graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London. She has taught with the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and directed at Mills High School in Millbrae. |

RITA FOSTER
Ms. Foster is a founding member of the Costume Cadre. She holds a BFA in Sculpture from San Jose State University where she designed and built costumes for a number of shows including The Mummified Deer by Luis Valdez. Her work with SSTC began in 2006 with the award winning production of Taming of the Shrew for which she and Remyln LaPenia co-designed. |

Dinna Myers
Ms. Myers received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in directingand design from San Jose State University.She has served as a bay area lighting designer for the past 25 years and has been directing plays for the past 15 years. She is a co-founder of Shady Shakespeare and directed its productions of As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing, Hamlet, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Tempest, and Twelfth Night. Ms. Myers is the Managing Director of SSTC and the Director of Sales and Marketing for Musson Theatrical. |

Doll Piccotto
Miss Piccotto has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from University of California at Santa Barbara with an emphasis in Shakespeare in Performance. She has worked as an actor, director, dramaturge, and costume designer on more than 50 Shakespearean productions and has been SSTC’s Dramaturge since 1999. |

Magdalen "Rosie" Ricca
Rosie holds a BA in Psychology and Theatre Arts from San Jose State University. She designed such shows as: As You Like It, The Importance of Being Earnest, Into the Woods and Once Upon a Mattress. Rosie’s contributions to SSTC began in 2007 with Macbeth, for which she was both a performer and costume co-designer. Rosie has designed and built two shows for Harker Middle School. When Rosie is not sewing, she knits, makes jewelry and practices Origami. |

Melissa weinstein - education program director
Ms. Weinstein received a B.A. in Theatre from SJSU, with emphases on acting, makeup design, and children’s theatre. She has also received training in improvisation from Comedy Sportz, and in mime and Commedia dell’Arte from American Conservatory Theatre (ACT). For the last eight years, Melissa has taught, directed, and developed theatre curriculum for numerous schools and camps in the Sunnyvale and Santa Clara School Districts with the non-profit arts organization, Starting Arts. When she is not performing, Melissa works behind the scenes for local theatre companies as a freelance makeup and wig designer, including teaching workshops on application techniques. |
