Class Description:

Discover how to create a basic makeup application, and then how to alter it to create the appearance of varying age ranges. This is a hands-on class which will focus on giving students the opportunity to practice applying makeup on a model, while receiving personalized feedback and tips along each step of the way. A model will be provided, or if you would like to bring a friend to use as your model, please let us know at the time of registration. Class is open to students of all experience levels!

Requirements:

A complete basic stage makeup kit is required for this course. You may bring your own (a list of contents can be found below), or you may purchase one for $19.67, including sales tax, in addition to the class fee.

Contents of a complete basic stage makeup kit:

• Foundation in a shade that matches your skin tone
• Translucent setting powder
• Contouring products (highlight and shadow)
• Eyeliner/eyebrow pencil
• Blush
• Lip color
• Tools: foundation sponge(s), powder brush and/or sponge, 1 brush each for highlight and shadow, 1 blush brush
• Optional: makeup wipes/remover, facial tissues, a cover-up to protect clothing, q-tips
