Information You Should Know

Cell Phones: There is no cellular service at Sanborn Park. There is a pay phone available at the ranger station.

Restrooms: Full indoor restrooms and hand-washing stations are available next to the concessions stand.

What to Bring: The weather at Sanborn park is changeable. We recommend people dress in layers, just in case. Please check weather conditions at the park before the show.

Photography: There is no flash photography or video taping of the performances permitted. Photography without a flash is permitted, but may not be published in any medium without the expressed written permission of Shady Shakespeare Theatre Company.

Picnics: Guests are encouraged to bring a nice picnic dinner to enjoy before the performance. There are many lovely spots in the park to enjoy a meal with friends. Due to a change in County Park Policy, Peterson Grove Picnic Area is not available to our patrons for picnicing unless you have made a reservation with the Park.

Donations: Donations are graciously accepted. It is through your generosity that we are able to produce these wonderful shows and keep them free for over 800 kids each summer!
