Seating at Sanborn

Capacity:
The Amphitheater at Sanborn Park has a maximum capacity of 250 people. Shady Shakespeare has folding chairs that we set out for each performance. Our Premium Seating Section is populated with 150 brand new gray chairs with padded seats and backs that were donated by the Saratoga Rotary Club. Our General Seating Section is populated with the old plastic folding chairs our guests have enjoyed for the past ten years. Seating within a section is not assigned and available on a first come first served basis. You no longer need to bring your own chair and seating in front of the first row in a low back chair will no longer be available. However, should a performance be sold out, guests may bring their own chairs or blankets and claim an unoccupied space at half price. This option will only be available if there are no more seats available for sale. Also no longer available will be the Astroturf area in the front for kids. Children will need to be seated with their parents or guardians.

Accessibility: While the amphitheater is wheel chair accessible, it is a bit of a bumpy ride. Ushers are on hand in the parking lot to assist our guest with special needs.

Royal Seating: There are four thrones placed in the theatre for our Royal Members. In the event that these seats are not reserved for a performance, they will be made available to the public for a donation of $200.00 per couple. Royal seating includes big, comfy, fluffy chairs on an elevated platform, and a bottle of red or white wine or nonalcoholic beverage of your choice. (NOTE: Subscribers to Artsopolis.com may find these seats available at a substantial discount.)
