The USO (United Shakespeare Organization) invites you to join the fight to keep Shakespeare Free in America! Grab your guy or gal and come swing the night away. Enjoy delicious refreshments, delightful conversation, and swinging sounds of the 1940's.
Events Include:
- 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. - Free Swing Dance Lesson
- 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. - Dance the night away to the musical stylings of Judy Steinle and The Starlight Sound. Songs include Sing Sing Sing,
Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,
Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree,
In the Mood,
I've Got You Under My Skin, and much more!
- War Bonds will be available for those of you who want to help the USO (United Shakespeare Organization) continue to fight the good fight and keep Free Shakespeare in the Park alive and well.
- Enjoy some "Punch" and cookies and other yummy delights.
- Attire is casual, but feel free to come in the spirit of the 1940's. Ladies, let those skirts fly!
- Not a dancer? Wallflowers are welcome too!
